- Who are the admins of this site and what do they do?
The admins of Wilogo are :
- Nenigrouss : relational and moderation
- Eddy : communication and modération
- Greg : development et moderation
That said, there is a guy responsible for both the english and spanish comunity, which is writing this FAQ. He goes by the nickname "StuFF mc" and will always serve you ;)
- What is Wilogo?
Wilogo is a site which create logos for companies. A community of designers proposes their creations to the companies which have done a demand for a logo and
these last choose one of them. The designer will be paid and the company will obtain the rights of the logo.The company only selects a pack which best fits with her needs and Wilogo do the rest : remuneration of the designers, contracts of transfer of rights, moderation... - What is the Karma?
The Karma allow to evaluate the quality of the creations of the designers and their participation (activity) on Wilogo. The Karma is divided in two parts which are added :
- the activity Karma which depends of the participation of the designer on Wilogo : the number of votes, of comments on the blog and the forum, of logos sent and of godsons.
- the quality Karma which depends of the quality of the logos sent by the designer : the number of hits from the community (if the logo is in the top 3), the number of hits from the customers and the number of logos sold.
- Why are some designers green in the member list?The designers that appear in green are those who sold at least one logo or who have been at least ones first in numbers of hits in a demand for a logo.
- Can I take logos from Wilogo?No, logos on Wilogo are the property of their respective authors: taking a logo is a violation of copyright.
- How does it work? I only need one logo!After completing our model specifications, graphic designers of the Wilogo comunity will propose you dozens of logos with some variants, following your guidelines. This puts you in a confortable situation since you can choose between many different concepts for your visual identity.
- Who are your graphic designers?The graphic designers of Wilogo are freelancers but also people working in a graphic design company, artistic directors or simply graphic design fans. Wilogo groups all the talented artists together, without status limit, geographic location, or graphic culture.
- How many logos am I gonna have? Is it possible possible that no graphic design participate?It all depends on the pack you are choosing. The number of logos indicated in the table correspond to the average on the last offers sold on our web site, which gives you a reliable preview. In any cases, we can guaranty you that you'll obtain - whichever pack you choose - a number of logos around the indicated number. That said, it is possible that your choice would be limited to a few logos.
- How can I inform the graphic designers about my remarks?Thanks to the comments on each logos and the forum dedicated to your demand, a real conversation starts with the different graphic designers of Wilogo.
- What if I'm not satisfied?With more than a logo sold each day on Wilogo, this case never happened. With the many logos design that our designers community will provided you, it's unlikely you will be disappointed. Moreover, you even have the possibility to select your favorite logos and ask for changes. This ensures that you get a result that satisfy you 100% !
- Does the website workd 24/7?Yes, if we believe what the statistics says, there are as many visits during the week that during the weekend on Wilogo. There is no downtime. Even better! with the international side of Wilogo, there's even no real "night" since there's always dailght somewhere in the world.
- What kind of files are sent?The files provided are in bitmap and vectorial formats. The vectorial format allows you to create files in any other kind of format (gif, png, jpg, ...) but also to print your logo at the size you'd like without losing quality.
- What if I have other needs later?We also propose more complementary service, that are viewable at this webpage. Furthermore, you'll have the informations of the graphic designer who win for optional changes in the future.
- Can I order today and activate my request for a logo design later when I'll be available ?Yes, it's possible. Right after you have completed your specifications, you can choose the lunch date of your request on the website. Choose a date when you will be available to answer designers questions.
Customer / Before doing my demand for a logo
- Can I do a confidential demand for a logo?Yes, you juste need to check the box "Confidential request" when you make your demand for a logo. Thus, only the members who have logged in on Wilogo will see your request. The search engines such as Google or Yahoo will not see your demand or the logos which will be proposed to you.
- How can I do if I have no idea of what I would like as a logo?
If you don't know what to write in the part "Give a precise description on your waitings", think at your job and describe it : what is your activity in details, who are your customers, what products or services do you provide etc...
That will help the designers to understand your universe and your job. Thus they could create logos which will be in adequation with your company.
- Do I need a logo printable with two colors?You need this option if you want to be able to use your logo for printing in two colors (often black and white): envelopes, heading of letter, fax etc… and printing at reduced cost.
- What is the CMYK, the RGB and the Pantone?Hay modos de colores:
- El modo de colores CMYK es el modo que permite que un logo sea imprimido en cualquier soporte. Este lo tiene que elijir si quiere imprimir en letras, tarjetas de visitas y publicidades.
- El modo de colores RGB es utilizado para paginas web: son luminosos pero cuando estan imprimido no reflectan las colores originales. Comparado con el logo en la pantalla, el logo imprimido sera mas pálida. Este modo hace la impresión muy peligrosa. Las colores RGB no son reproducible con tinta.
- El modo de colores CMYK Pantone® permite la impresión sobre papel añadando colores brusca gracias a la apliction de tonos directos (impresoras). Esto permite una impresión perfecta de su logo en todo típo de papel (tarjeta de visita por ejemplo). El logo en la pantalla sera lo mismo que el logo imprimido pero la impresión sera mas cara. Si tomas esta opcion por favor describe el maximo de colores Pantone® que quiere usar.

- How to hit your preferred logos?To hit a logo you like, you just have to go in "Let's vote" in the title bar, to choose a demand and to click on "Hit it" below the logo you ike.
- How to comment the existing logos?To comment a logo, everything is in "Let's vote" in your demand. After you have to click on the small bubble near the logo. Finally you write your comment and you finish by validating.
- Do I have to comment all the logos which are proposed to me?No, you comment only the logos you want. But the designers like when the customer comment their logos...

- Can I be notified when there is new comments on a topic or on a logo?Yes, to do this you only need to check the case "Keep me informed when there is new messages" which is on the differents topics and on the page of comments for a logo.

- Who designed Wilogo?It's Eniris, an active designer from Wilogo, who have been chosen to do the design of the web site.
- I have lost my password, what can I do?To recover your password, you just have to click on "Password forgotten?" on the home page of Wilogo and to follow the instructions.
- How to log in on the site?To log in on the site, you just need to enter your mail or your pseudo and your password (recieved by mail) in the fields in the top right of the site and to click on the button "OK". Once logged in, the fields will disappear and leave the place to another menu of navigation.
- What can I do if I don't manage to log in?
